At 12 locations around Xavier Thévenard’s trail network in the beautiful Jura mountains we have placed sign posts for hikers and trail runners to discover.

Each one introduces our project and its mission and has a QR code that unlocks an ‘ambient film’ with a personal message from Xavier to you. There are 6 different films spread across the 12 signs and in each Xavier talks about a different aspect of the climate and sustainability issue, how it affects the natural world and the things we can all do to help. The films are titled; Co-Habit, Trails, Love, Wake Up Call, Food and Home.

The network begins at the town of Metabief, covers almost 100 kilometres of stunning mountain terrain and caters for all levels of fitness and ability. So next time you’re in the Jura enjoying the trails, keep an eye out for one of our signs. Who knows, you may meet Xavier and be inspired to protect the natural environment along the way!
